From the depths of my heart, there's always been this strong pull—a deep desire to blend the grace of horses with the warmth of helping others. Horses have been my rock, my solace, offering me a sense of freedom like nothing else. Growing up in a military family meant constant change, but amidst it all, I found my calling: supporting those who serve our country.

I stumbled upon the Touched By A Horse Certification program in my search for a path that would let me blend my two loves. Little did I know, it would be the journey of a lifetime. Over two years, horses taught me the beauty of living in the moment and uncovered a strength within me I never knew I had.

At a time when my personal life felt like it was falling apart, this program became my anchor, showing me that sometimes, chaos is just life rearranging itself. Now, my mission burns brighter than ever: to reach out to those struggling, to show them their own power and help them find their way forward.

In this work, I've found my purpose—to serve those who've served us all. And with every fiber of my being, I'm committed to walking this path, offering support, hope, and healing to those who've sacrificed so much for others.

 Drifter, a 6-year-old horse, is the latest addition to Healing Through Broken Strides. Shania was immediately drawn to her during her graduation from the Touched by a Horse program. Within just a few days, they formed a strong bond. Drifter's sweet and caring personality makes her an ideal partner for coaching. 

She has extensive experience in coaching, even before joining Shania, and has demonstrated her remarkable skills at various events.

 Meet Shiner, an exquisite 6-year-old American Quarter Horse who has shared an inseparable bond with Shania since his first day of life. Raised amidst an environment filled with love, patience, and tender care, Shiner possesses a remarkable sense of humor, embellished by his vibrant personality. 

His remarkable intuition enables him to effortlessly sense and comfort others in distress. Throughout Shania's journey, Shiner has been her steadfast companion, offering solace during life's trials and aiding in her personal healing. 

With an innate capacity to provide solace, Shiner stands ready to offer his gentle presence, his mane a soft refuge for tears, and his spirit a balm for wounded souls.
